December 5th - Glass Axis - Day
Using Beadmaking Molds
With all the wonderful molds and presses currently available on the market, its time to try some of them out. We'll have a bunch for you to try and talk about their care and feeding. If you have one you're stuck on, then bring it and we'll try to make it work for you. I'm going to try and con my friend Lisa into letting me borrow the vintage one she bought it the Czech republic so we can try it out.
Taught on minor bench burners.

December 7th - 1 Stop Bead Shop - Day (3 hours)
Steampunk Pendant, day - Level 4.
This started out as something else, but has since turned into a bug, with a key. I don't know, but its fun, and uses a peyote stitch base, Swarovski sequins and fringe. And its purple!

December 7 - 1 Stop Bead Shop- Evening (3 hours)
Japanese Screen Bracelet
Level 2 or 3.
This lovely bracelet uses a basic bead weaving stitch called "peyote" and some very basic wirework. Its
a great beginning project for the seed beader. For our friends who already know basic peyote, we will
also cover "fast peyote" in class, which does two rows at the same time!

Fringes Workshop
Level 2
This class covers 8 different types of fringe. I've heard that my fringe is very distinctive, so I'll
give exact patterns for each. The in-store sample is a finished necklace which uses 4 of those
fringes. We will not be making a necklace in class, but you'll come home with a handy booklet with
attached samples.

Sea Form Pendant
Level 4
Make a sculpted peyote pendant or beaded bead around a lampwork glass bead and cover it in crazy
fringe! Students should already know flat even count peyote stitch.

Royal Ruffles Bracelet
Level 3
This bracelet looks more complex than it actually is. Use either one of our Czech glass buttons as a
closure, or make a beaded toggle clasp, also covered in class. Students should be very comfortable
with even count peyote.
