Moonbeads, I think if you activate the sale, then upload items, the discount doesn't hit them.  Even if you deactivate and then reactivate the sale, it doesn't look like it takes a percentage off.  I don't know how to fix this.  Is this, by any chance, what happened?

I think it works when it wants to. I have my sale going now, and plan to add more stuff tonight or tomorrow, so I'll see what happens.

Celly just pointed out that he got an error message when he went to my website and tried to make a purchase using the Paypal button.

I also had another customer that experienced the same thing.

Celly, had copied the error message he got and I sent this to Artfire, hopefully, they can fix the problem.

Anyone else experience this problem.?

Hi Everyone,

Just passing on some info.

I was having problems with the paypal payment when customer tried to make a purchase from my studio.

The problem was with my paypal account.  Here is what Artfire told me to do:

I apologize for any inconvenience, but this is something that needs to be adjusted from within your PayPal account. To change this setting, please log in to your PayPal account. Under Profile, click Website Payment Preferences. Then go to Encrypted Website Payments and turn it off.

Sellers have to do this even though 100% of our process is encrypted, because in some cases PayPal’s API does not recognize correctly. PayPal is aware of the issue and have said they are repairing it.

So I went to my paypal profile and made the change.
