Thanks Celly.

Artfire responded to my help message.  I needed to install the latest version of Flash Player.  Once I installed this, I was able to upload images and list an item using the new listing page.

Artfire provided a link to the appropriate website for downloading Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X.
Here is the link in case anyone needs it:  http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

I just uploaded a whole bunch of new stuff to Artfire and it worked fine for me.  Hope everything is still good on your end, Diane.  Celly, did you get stuff uploaded?

Anybody look at their active listing in Artfire lately?

I just noticed that aboout half of my active items are now Pending for the GBASE, they were in the YES status before.

I know that Artfire has been doing some updating with the Google base but I thought all that was done.

I sent Artfire a message regarding this, waiting for their response.

Anyone else having same problem?

I just checked my Artfire.  I have two active items, one is PENDING, and the other is YES.  Not really sure what that means.....

Okay, now all my items say YES regarding the Google Base.

I have been reading the threads in Artfire regarding changes that Google keeps making on searches.  It to complicated for me to understand all that.

Anyways, I think Artfire has it all straighten now, until the next time Google changes something.

I just ripped this right out of Wikipedia....

Google Base is an online database provided by Google into which any user can add almost any type of content, such as text, images, and structured information in formats like XML, PDF, Excel, RTF, WordPerfect. As of 2009, it is available to the public as a beta version and the user interface is available in English and German. If Google finds it relevant it may appear on its shopping search engine, Google Maps or even the web search.

Found a snag with the Artfire coupons. has something to do with the date range not working properly.
Artfire still has not responded to my email regarding this issue so I started a thread on the artfire chatterbox forums regarding this.

Read through the postings to get a better understanding of what happened to me, here is the link:

Never got an answer from Artfire regarding why the date range thing doesn't work with the coupons.  SO, what I found out on my own, was that you need to activate the coupon the day you want it to start, then deactiviate when you want the coupons to end. so what is the point of having a Date Range option to begin with...?

But, good news is that the coupons are working when they are used, because I just sold some items and my customer used the coupon successfully, and it went thru to Paypal okay.

Back to work Smile

I've been playing with the idea of putting stuff up on Artfire...but every time I've gone to work on my profile, or something as such, I've had such an awful time of it I've closed the page and cussed vehemently at it.  I can't figure whether I should put things in both places..(i'm on Etsy), split stuff up or what.  PLUS..there's at least 3 other venues that are available.  ACK.
