I have a constant battle with Artfire, trying to get the monthly verified payment settled, either they say it's not been done or Paypal doesn't pay it or something else happens or the dog ate their homework.

It's not worth the monthly hassle wondering if yet again the payment will go through.  Sorry, guys, but I need a simple life.

I'll keep you all in my favourite list and support the project but it's just not worth the hassle for me.

What annoyed me was every time there was a problem with Paypal, they instantly assume you're cancelling you account and de-verify you, even if you email them and say it's Paypal.

I'm too old to waste time on that sort of crap so I'm just going with the plain shop.

My payment goes automatically.  I wonder if its the overseas thing, teagirl.  I'm sorry to see you drop out, especially when I'm all getting set to start making some more promotional stuff happen for the group, but the whole need for a simpler life... yah, I sure understand that.

I also have some rearranging I need to do, and a few people who I'm dropping from the group since they are no longer involved with TAM (and/or also have empty shops).  Look to these threads for updates!

My payment usually does go out monthly, but sometimes it doesn't, the funds in the account seem to be irrelevant.  I even put a different credit card as the 'back-up' funding and that didn't matter.

It's a problem between Artfire and Paypal and the times it has happened it was of course always MY fault somehow as they never make mistakes but their CS is primo at being snotty about how to get reinstated.

This was just the last straw.  I'm sorry I won't be part of the promotions but I have so much on my plate right now that it's just a hassle too far to deal with them.

Sorry, guys.

why does teagirl have to drop out of the guild - she can still have her shop empty and still get noticed in someway shape or form - are we not altogether in this! we are all tammers -- just my 2 cents. No offense intended.
oh one more thing...sorry
what does it matter if we are in or out if we don't have the money to pay fee's to be verified? I canceled my sub - along time ago, but still have my shop up I think - I haven't been to artfire in a long time. just asking...

Artfire requires you to be a paying, verified member to belong to a guild, Vonna.

If there were an 'unverified' TAM group that promoted themselves on Artfire, I'd be in that like a shot but I'm fed up with trying to deal with their screwy verification payment system.  They've had plenty of my money and take little interest in the issues of payment problems.

So, I'll just hang around on the fringes and cheer y'all on.

Aww, you guys!  Celly, you're making me cry!

I'm not going anywhere, we're still on Artfire but it's just on the basic plan rather than the verified one.

I havne't been here in the forum for awhile trying to catch up on what's going on.

I am so sorry to see this happen teagirl and having to drop out of guild but you can still participate in forum activity.
You gotta do what you think is best.

Being unverified is fine, I think you can still list some items, up to 10 items.
