Artfire GJCG SALE/PROMOTION

Well, its time to gear up for a new GJCG Sale!

Here are my ideas. Sound off below and let me know what you think.

Please offer some sort of sale or promotion in your shop (ideas below).
Please make sure all your items are tagged with GJCG AND you mention the team in your shop announcement.

Please have your shop set up and at least ONE item in it by Thanksgiving (that's for you Chad... nag, nag, nag). It just looks bad to have empty shops, especially around the holidays. I will be removing any empty shops from the guild on Thanksgiving so that we have a good showing for Black Friday. If, for some reason, you don't have anything added and want to be invited back into the Guild, I will re-invite you as soon as you have one item in your shop OR the holidays are over (just in case you just don't have time to add anything until after the holidays).

I think we can keep the sale up and going until Christmas.

Here are some options for promotions:

Free Gift
Free Shipping (make all shipping costs 0 by using the glbal editor or on each item page)
SALE (there is a SALE option within the global editor or on each item page)
COUPON (I really dig using the coupon geneator, available on the MyArtfire page)
BOGO (buy on get one free)

About using promo labels: November 11th marked the launch of Artfire's newest Pro (Verified) feature: Item Promo Labels. Item Promo Labels provide a great way to make your items stand out to buyers who are browsing items on ArtFire. The Promo Labels are viewable on the front page, landing pages, category browsing, studio browsing, search results and item level. Currently you can choose from five different labels: Free Gift, Free Ship, Sale, Coupon, and BOGO (Buy One Get One Free). These labels can be added individually during the listing/editing process, or in larger batches via the Global Editor. When using one of the labels, you must clearly demonstrate to the buyer in your studio that you are offering the appropriate special.

If you use any of the options above please add the word "holideals" to your tags. You can add them all at the same time using your Global Editor. About the tag "holideals" and the Holiday Deals Trend Pages: Artfire will be creating three new trend pages specifically for holiday shoppers: a Black Friday page, a Cyber Monday page, and a Holiday Deals page. All three of these pages will be populated with items that have been tagged with "holideals." If you are going to use this tag to be included on these pages please note that items included in these trend pages need to have a deal or promotion (info above) associated with them.
